Tim Manning
Tim has been biking, running, rock climbing, canoeing and kayaking, hiking and swimming for the past 25 years. Besides running marathons and triathlons, he rode his mountain bike across Korea in 2000, did a solo mountain bike crossing of the Alps from Riva de Garda, Italy to Garmisch, Germany in five days in 2002 and was a master hare in the Osan Hash House Harriers club. In 2008 he found a way to combine all his hobbies into a single race when he completed his first adventure race and loves the added challenges of developing race strategy, course selection and navigation, and has been hooked ever since. When not training or racing, Tim can be found in Bucharest, Romania where he is a colonel in the Air Force and works at the US Embassy.
